🎶 ALBUM VAULT #209 🎶 The Bangles – Different Light — 8/10💿 Black Original Vinyl Next up, The Bangles. This band had such a great mix of ’60s-style pop, jangly guitars and pure ’80s polish. And then there was Susanna Hoffs… Those eyes. Come on. 😂 She could look directly into the camera and suddenly an entire MTV audience forgot what song was playing. Graceland is one of those albums that just feels different from everything else. An album with “Every Breath You Take” on it pretty much has to be perfection. Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland were such a weirdly perfect combination. Sting with the songs and that unmistakable voice, Summers with those atmospheric guitar parts, and Copeland playing drums like he was trying to outrun everybody else in the band.
