🎶 ALBUM VAULT #253 🎶
Back in the office today. Back on the Plex Server.
And we’re rolling with…
GREATEST HITS HUMPER.
First up…
Exposé – Master Hits — 8/10
💿 Plex Server
Man, Exposé had a RUN.
The lineup most of us remember was Jeanette Jurado, Gioia Bruno and Ann Curless, with producer/songwriter Lewis Martineé helping build that huge freestyle/dance-pop sound.
And their debut album Exposure was ridiculous.
“Come Go with Me” — #5
“Point of No Return” — #5
“Let Me Be the One” — #7
“Seasons Change” — #1
Four Top 10 hits from a DEBUT album.
Then they just kept going with “What You Don’t Know,” “When I Looked at Him,” “Tell Me Why,” “Your Baby Never Looked Good in Blue” and later “I’ll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me).”
For a stretch there, Exposé was EVERYWHERE.
Master Hits gives you a bunch of the good stuff: “Let Me Be the One,” “Seasons Change,” “Point of No Return,” “Tell Me Why,” “When I Looked at Him,” “I Wish the Phone Would Ring” and more.
BUT…
For something called Master Hits, it somehow leaves off “Come Go with Me,” “What You Don’t Know” and “I’ll Never Get Over You.”
COME ON. 😂
Still, great little collection and a hell of a reminder of how big Exposé really was.
